Rigid Grooved Couplings with Standard Gaskets are used in wet sprinkler systems to join two sections of sprinkler piping together where precise alignment is required. These couplings are designed to join two sections of sprinkler pipe without the need for threading or welding. When rigid grooved couplings are installed properly, they form a water-tight seal preventing leaks through the employment of a gasket and a clamp. Couplings are available in a variety of sizes in either the standard orange painted finish or hot-dipped galvanized finish.
