Fire Log Book
The Ontario Fire Code Subsection 1.1.2, Records of Tests and Inspections, states that the owner of a building is required to maintain written records of tests and any corrective measures for their fire prevention systems for two years after they are made. These records must be readily available upon request to the Chief Fire Official.
A fire protection maintenance log book helps you remain compliant with the Ontario Fire Code by recording regular inspection and maintenance of your fire protection systems to include but not limited to your fire alarm, fire sprinkler system, fire extinguishers and emergency lighting.
